About Us

We bring wood-fired wellness to the people, making this ancient tradition more accessible to the community and Asheville visitors.

Co-founders Evan and Daniel are dear friends who have cultivated brotherhood through local community, exploring swimming holes of Western North Carolina, growing and foraging food, and always pushing each other to become the best versions of themselves. From this connection and a drive to build something special for their community, Drip Sauna was born.

We believe wellness is a human right and that connection to nature and the elements through activating experiences like sauna and cold plunge is a powerful way to enrich lives. We're passionate about protecting the environment and are committed to using a portion of our resources to continue the beautification of Asheville's natural features and protection of the greater ecosystem.

You can expect to make friends with Mowgli and Scout (the beloved dogs) at the sauna, by the river, or deep in the trails throughout Asheville.

Meet the Fire Tenders

The people who tend the fire, prepare the space and welcome you into this experience are more than staff-they're the heart of Drip.

Each Fire Tender brings their own gifts and deep respect for the ritual. They'll guide you through your first plunge, adjust the heat if needed and share in the quiet magic of löyly. They're yogis, DJs, raft guides, massage therapists, and artists who all share one thing: a genuine love for this work.

Rob aka CPT. Hyperdrive - Top DJ in Asheville - When he's not spinning records around town, Rob is breaking axes. Seriously. He's broken more axes chopping wood than anyone on the team. We've lost count.

Drew - Kundalini Yoga Teacher - When not stoking fires and high vibes at Drip, Drew can be found wild foraging, riding motorcycles and teaching kundalini yoga and motorcycle safety. Check out his classes at Drip and Asheville Community Yoga.

Rian - Yoga Instructor at Drip Sauna - Rian spent time in Brazil, speaks Portuguese, and built his own sauna before joining the Drip team. He understands this practice from the inside out.

Katie - Raft Guide & River Steward - When Katie's not chopping wood like an absolute boss, she's leading rafting trips and cleaning the rivers of WNC. She embodies the stewardship we stand for.

Clay - DJ, master potter (his name says it all!) and experienced fire keeper — Clay brings a special warmth and wisdom to Drip Sauna. For a little extra heat, ask him to show off one of his one handed wood chopping tricks.

Adrian -

Lau - Epic DJ + Community Facilitator - Lau leads community events across Asheville, is an epic DJ and brings intention to every gathering. You'll feel it the moment you meet them.

The Land

Drip sits on beautiful natural land just above the French Broad River in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. You’ll find us about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville towards Woodfin, NC — surrounded by trees, birds, and the kind of fresh air that makes you want to breathe a little deeper.

Drip is in nature, outdoors in all its messy, seasonal, alive glory.

You'll hear leaves rustle between rounds. You'll feel the ground under your feet. You'll watch steam rise into open sky. The outdoor setting isn't just aesthetic-it's essential.

We chose this land intentionally. And we care for it with intention, too.

What We Stand For

Presence

We show up rooted and ready, creating space for you to do the same. In a world obsessed with productivity and speed, we offer permission to slow down. To sit with discomfort. To do absolutely nothing but breathe and sweat and be.

Accessibility

Hospitality is our practice. We lead with mindfulness, anticipate needs, and honor this space as sacred. Sauna is an ancient practice that belongs to everyone. We keep our pricing honest and our doors open.

Authenticity

We honor Finnish sauna traditions while making them approachable. No pretense. No wellness jargon. Just fire, water, and honest human connection. We take pride in every detail and work like it matters.

Community + Stewardship

Healing happens in relationship-with ourselves, each other, and the land. We create space for both solitude and togetherness, because you need both. We use natural materials, minimize our footprint, and give back to the ecosystems that sustain us. Protecting Asheville's rivers, forests, and wild spaces is part of our mission.
