Event Details
Heartwood Collective invites you to its very first public event at Drip Sauna- designed to cultivate community, conversations about sustainability, and a deeper relationship with our forests.
Born in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene- Heartwood Collective’s mission is to turn storm-downed trees into firewood and timber for the Asheville community and beyond. The organization also hopes to provide a platform to educate on the issue of regenerative forestry, to ensure the long term vitality of our local ecosystem.
The Nov. 10th event at Drip Sauna will feature a chainsaw safety class, a blade craft class, talks by local community members, wood splitting, DJ sets, and of course saunas and cold plunges! Habibi Village will be also serving delicious food.
So come down to Drip Sauna to learn about how you can be a part of Heartwood Collective’s vision for a more sustainable Asheville.
Schedule
1:30 - 3:00pm Chainsaw Safety Class with Skills Academy for Women. (Must pre-register here, limited to 30 people)
3:00pm Welcome Opening Ceremony / Main Event

Our sauna sessions are a powerful form of self care - a time to connect with yourself, community, and nature.
Rotate between sauna, cold plunge, and relaxing outside in a hammock or next to the fire pit. Each sauna has a capacity of up to 6 people.
NOTE: Bring your own towel, water bottle, and some light footwear. Outdoor cold water showers will be available. We recommend a having a warm change of clothes for after your session.
PARKING: Please park in the lot in front of the Dog Tag Art Building - and walk up the gravel road to the Drip site.
